What Europeans think: Germany after Merkel and the crisis of European confidence

8. Juni 2021, 18:00 - 19:30

The European Council on Foreign Relations is delighted to welcome you to a two-part playbook for Germany and Europe in a post-COVID-19 world. Against the backdrop of an already testing 2021, how can leaders build the case for an outward-looking Europe in the world, and, with a view to parliamentary elections in September, Germany after Merkel? As EU leaders meet their international counterparts at the G7 and EU-US Summit, ECFR invites you to the launch of its two pioneering reports by Susi Dennison, Mark Leonard and Jana Puglierin on how Europeans see their place in the world, based on new public opinion polling of 17,000 citizens across 12 EU countries.
