I have the honour of inviting you to the first of a series of CHINA LUNCHES, which Sven Schulze (EPP), Evelyne Gebhardt (S&D), Moritz Körner (Renew), Helmut Scholz (The Left) and myself will be organising as a common endeavour.

Our inaugural CHINA LUNCH will focus on the situation of young people in China, the title is: “What makes young Chinese people tick?”. We have invited The Economist journalist Stephanie Studer to give a short presentation. Stephanie Studer recently published a report on this topic in which she explores the situation of the post-90s cohort, among other topics. The CHINA LUNCH will take place on Zoom in the form of a webinar on Friday, 28 May, 12:00-13:30 CET. Participants will be invited to join the conversation.
