Many of the european deltas are extremely vulnerable to flooding, especially due to the effects of climate change and poor river basin management. Therefore I joined this initiative by my colleagues Diana Riba, Antoni Comín and Ernest Urtasun to call on Frans Timmermans (Executive Vice-President of the European Commission) and Commissioner Virginijus Sinkevičius to protect european deltas.
